This is a very nice set of headphones, especially for the price.

The pair I used at work originally cost about $60 and though they still worked just as well as when they were new they're bulky and only sound the best when noise-canceling is turned on. Unfortunately, when that's on the headphones pickup interference from my iPhone.

I don't find earbuds very comfortable (of any type) and none of the ones I have sound this good (and I'm not willing to pay a lot for earbuds).

I just got these today and found the sound quality superior to any of my earbuds and my old headphones. I wouldn't describe them as high-end but they sound better than anything I previously had, are comfortable, and very well priced. I bought my wife a pair at the same time and I think she'll love them.

My only concern, and it's something that I'll only find out over time, is whether or not the cables are thick enough to deal with some punishment.

Haven't found better headphones for the price. This is actually my second pair, as the first failed after a couple years due to being yanked on so much. Until I can afford a fancy $100 pair these will be my goto headphones for the time being. Both comfortable and sound great.

I absolutely love these! I can take them off my ears and lay them flat on my neck & still hear my music perfectly! It makes it easy to hear the rest of the things I need to hear too... like when my grand-daughter wakes up in the other room, I bake wedding cakes and need to hear when the oven timer goes off,

and if I want to block out the rest of the world ---- I can put them on my ears and they do that too! AND THEY ARE REALLY REALLY COMFY!!!! AND WHAT A GREAT PRICE!!!!

We originally bought two pair of these after a friend recommended them. We wanted something durable for our children to use for an extended trip. We traveled for 5 weeks with our two sons - they used the headphones daily to listen to music or watch videos on our Zune. The boys also carried the headphones in their own small backpacks that held their other toys. (The boys were 3 and 5 at the time - so you can imagine what the poor headphones went through... We originally worried that they would be more likely to break at the swivel point - but they made it through the trip with flying colors. I think the folding ability actually makes them MORE durable, because when they lay flat in a bag, there is nothing sticking up (like their would be with normal headphones) any pressure put on the headphones is equally distributed rather than on the part that sticks up - like a regular set of headphones would have if that makes sense)
In addition to their durability, we liked that they came in several different colors (which made it easy to figure out which pair belonged to which boy - and it also made them easier to spot when they inevitably became lost in various hotel rooms.) Also, this type of headphone did not slide off our kids' heads when they looked down like the ear buds did.

We have had the headphones for two years now and I have bought another pair since!

I originally bought these for my 4 year old for watching a movie on a plane trip. He loves them. They fit him well enough, but they also fit me and my husband. We often use them when we need a comfortable pair for long periods of wear (like watching a movie). We have both the ipod earbuds and expensive noise-cancelling headphones, but often these JVC are the ones we pick. By far the most comfortable set we own.
