Great sounds (I listen to a broad range of music, country, rap, dubstep, rock, classic, etc.)
Compact (Foldable design)
The bass won't appeal to bassheads
Although I have a access to some upper echelon headphones I am realising that I'm more of a mid-fi guy and these are a heap of fun. Just plug them into your iPhone or iPod and they sound fine without any additional amplification.
What could be better? They do get a little uncomfortable after extended periods of use but you do acclimate. A pouch would have been a nice inclusion - the highly reflective plastic finish is beginning to scuff. You can have them in black or white so bling factor is low.
What you get is a portable and easy to listen to headphone for cheap $'s. If you get them on sale, like I did, no need to baby them.
I am no expert. If your reading this I can offer you an honest opinion from an average consumer.
The sound is fantastic, very bright and punchy, zero noticeable distortion. Deep deep bass.
I can say although these are missing any noise cancellation feature, its hardly noticeable its missing because the sound is twice as clear as my old $400 sonys.
I would recommend these to those purchasing headphones for children to use on tablets or for those who are very hard on their headphones and replace them frequently.
For less money I would recommend the Sony ZX100s.
