I bought this in-dash car system about 6 months ago, but only installed it yesterday. The video quality is perfect. The rear USB port read my 4GB pendrive normally. The bluetooth function operate my cell phone (LG ME 770) totally. The sound quality is clean, but volume could be better (but OK). I can play my MP3 stored in my cell phone by bluetooth easy. A good aquisition. Perfect!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Good all around unit, August 15, 2007
This review is from: JVC KD-AVX33; Detachable Vehicle DVD/CD Player Receiver (Electronics)
I just bought this unit for my wife's 2004 Tahoe and had it installed yesterday. It looks nice in the dash - I had been worried about the double-din to single-din adapter. And (when installed properly, don't ask) it works great for everything we wanted... almost. The one thing I wish I would have known is that when using Dual Zone so the kids can watch a movie on the external monitors in the back seat, the USB playback is disabled. I don't know why and I am sure JVC technical will just tell me it is some playback driver issue, but if Dual Zone is turned on it will not recognize the USB input, period. I am looking at adding the KS-PD100 iPod adapter to have an option other than radio, but than I would have to buy an iPod... I would also have liked radio station information displayed (when the station broadcasts song/artist/etc) but I can live without.
