No USB connector and no SD card slot as stated in the description of the reciever.

For the price of $230 NOTHING can touch this unit. I paid $243 for it. Everything works as expected, the touch screen works better than expected. I wish it had some sort of "animations" or something in the background when music is playing..but what do you expect for so cheap. DVD player works great. Once you setup EQ sound is great. My only HUGE complaint is the lack of effective dimming. This has the most complicated (and yet ineffective) dimming system I've ever seen on a deck. (I'm 34 and have installed all sorts of car stereos, alarms, remote starts, subs etc so Ive about seen it all) First off, it has FOUR choices on how you want the dimmings handled ON, OFF, AUTO, and TIMED. How about "just dim when I turn the headlights on and the "illumination" signal is triggered? Duh. THEN it has 3 different "MAIN" levels of dimming. OOKAY. Then once you select one of the 3 levels, there is THIRTY more dimming levels from -15 to +15 for 90 different levels just when its set to "auto". Regardless, even set to the darkest position with a black wallpaper this thing is just blinding at night to the point where its not safe to drive. The background is dimmed but the display of numbers (in white) does not dim at all. Other than returning this product for a pioneer or something better..it looks like my only choice will be to purchase some non-adhesive window tint and cut it to size to cover the screen so its not so bright.

I too bought this unit for $243.00, a true steal for a head unit with these features. I added the Sirius radio option and the Ipod control cord (make sure you read which one it takes so you don't end up with 2 like I did!) DVD player works great, Ipop controller works great although mine doesn't seem to charge the Ipod. Over-all this is a superior unit for the price, which does bounce all over the board so be patient and look often. My one major complaint, again this was my lack of reading and knowledge, it doesn't have a dedicated subwoofer out line. I'm running 2-10" Type R's with 2-500watt Alpine amps, the unit will rock put I still have bass coming thru the other speakers. Make sure you read ALL the data. Over-all the BEST, most option packed unit on the market.

This works awesome in my 2009 Ford Ranger. Installation is straight forward enough. My car's dash required some dremmeling in order to fit the unit. Touchscreen is responsive. I agree with other reviews that the screen can be rather bright during night driving. However, for the price, this unit can not be beat. I added sirius adapter, sat. receiver, and bluetooth. Everything works great with the exception of the Bluetooth Adapter which has terrible sound quality.

I can't complain about the price or the quality of the unit, but Amazon was a little shady about the advertising. Mine came with the yellow bar code sticker on the box, which means it was a refurbished unit.
It didn't say that anywhere in the advertising. Even at the cheap price, I probably wouldn't have bought it if I had known that.
But everything works and is in great condition, so I am happy with it.

This unit doesnt have a detachable faceplate as stated in the description! The first thing i was looking on a double din DVD Player was the detachable face! and now i have to sell this unit. The KW-AVX810 is the one with detachable face, not the 710! it also doesnt have USB Conecction nor SD Card Slot!! Be carefull if you are thinking in buy this unit

this unit is awsome i've seen audio shops want 500-600 bucks for something with less quality like pyle or what ever that junk was, the only problem is yes it is too bright at night, after a while you get use to it anyway, i don't care how bright it is, you still can't buy a better radio for the money, i've had mine for about 8 months and no problems what so ever

I got a great price on this unit and would highly reccomend it.

The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because of a misunderstanding I had with it's ability to play DVD's. Maybe this was my fault for not reading close enough or asking questions, but I assumed that since it had video outputs that my kids would be able to watch a DVD on a seperate monitor without having to be in PARK. I understood that you couldn't watch the main screen while the vehicle was in motion, but what good does the drop down screen in the second row of my SUV do me if my kids can't watch their moveis while I drive? (yes, i know there is a way around the parking break)

Anyways, whatever the miscommunication, this unit does what it says very well and is an excellent value.
