Overall a great value for your buck if you're looking to replace a stock unit.

Paired her iphone to the receiver with no problem and used phones bluetooth to stream music from her saved music and also used Pandora to make sure it worked.

Sound quality is a great upgrade from the factory stereo, even with the original speakers, more detailed and clean sound, very satisfied.

I'll tell you why I'm rating this 5 star even though not a perfect product. For the price, it is an awesome piece of technology.

The bluetooth works flawlessly, connects fast. I can launch Pandora on my android phone without ever taking it out of my pocket, and control from the head unit, there is even an option to give "thumbs up or down" from the head unit. The bluetooth, while not perfect sound quality is very very good, bluetooth isn't going to be perfect because the signal is compressed, but the music sounds clean and will be very acceptable for most people who don't consider themselves "audiophiles", I had an external bluetooth solution with my old car stereo and the sound quality from this is far superior. A long press on the phone button launches android voice actions for voice dialing, one press, call made, simple. Music played from your phone's music player can be paused, or skipped from the head unit. Artist info isn't transmitted to the screen, that would be a nice option.

Sound quality is a great upgrade from the factory stereo, even with the original speakers, more detailed and clean sound, very satisfied.

I was able to match the exact shade of yellowish green to match the rest of the dash. There are about 30 preset colors to choose from, none of those worked for me, but a little deeper in the menu and you can adjust the red, green and blue, to get an exact match.

USB, works well. My only complaint here is that it will not read sub folders, you can create them, but this unit will look for folders with music and ignore sub folders, so separating music by genre with a sub folder for artist doesn't work. I've just created folders for each artist and put all of the music in those.

Works great! Make sure you get a wiring harness for it (this makes it much easier to install). All you do is connect the like colors - follow the colors on the wiring harness and on the bottom side of the stereo and connect together. I put electrical tape around each splice- no soldering. Leave the plug in your "bt rear" as this is the frequency for your bluetooth connection. The one thing I had a hard time figuring out was how to pair. Your phone will find the "jvc unit" device. Look at the stereo when it says "bt pairing". Once you see that press the volume button and it will start pairing. Also press pair on your phone. That's it! Takes about 15 seconds to connect bluetooth to your phone when you get in the car and that's it. Calls work great. One other thing is to make sure you haw the source set to "bt rear" when you want it to connect to your phone for music. Enjoy.

It was pretty easy to install on my 2003 Chevy Silverado. I soldered the harness wires together as opposed to twisting. It is just great. The sound seems a hell of a lot better thru my stock speakers too. Bluetooth works just fine as well. I love the USB port for my iPod too.

I installed this unit in my 2012 Suzuki Equator to replace the dismal factory radio. The unit works well with lots of features BUT if your dash is tilted upward, as mine is, the LED display can be difficult to read in daylight. I turned the brightness up as far as it will go and it can be tough to read on bright sunny days. Other than that the unit was relatively easy to install and sounds much better than the factory unit. I added satellite radio and also use it with my iphone. The hands free feature is ok but some callers complain I sound muffled. The radio does pack a lot of good features for the money. Just be aware of the angle issue before you buy.

Follow up after 6 months- The JVC Sirius adaptor sound quality is not as good as other XM receivers I have had.
The blu-tooth linkage to my Iphone by far supplies the best audio quality of any audio device to the radio. Pandora supplied thorugh my Iphone sounds much better than Sirius.

It works better than expected. I love the ability to have my phone connect via bluetooth. It is also simple...and for this old buzzard that is really nice.

This thing rocks. I have had it installed for almost a year and it works perfect. I love the bluetooth and the power to each channel drives the speakers fine without an amp.

Bought this radio to replace a broken touch screen Jensen unit that was in my 2003 Chevy 2500HD pickup. The radio fit perfectly and came with all wires and adapters needed to install it and get it working. The radio reception is above average, the bluetooth works well, however there are a few minor glitches like it takes about 5 minutes for it to synch up with my Iphone. The cool part is that you can set one phone to play music and one to attach to the bluetooth handsfree, so you can have two devices doing different things at the same time. This is important to me so I can use my work phone for a call while listening to music/pandora on my personal phone without having to switch between the two. The interface takes a bit to figure out but once you do its quite easy to change settings. Audio quality is very good for a $100 radio, and I'm not really wanting for more features than what are included.

Bluetooth calls are clear and you can adjust volume with the radio volume knob. I haven't gotten complaints about the background noise even though this is a diesel pickup with an aftermarket exhaust. It works great that it mutes the radio and shows the call, however its a bit weird that the ringer is different than the ring tone that you have on your phone.

Overall a great value for your buck if you're looking to replace a stock unit.
