Meeting Room
I purchased this recorder because of the remote control. Try to find a good CD, Cassette, recorder with a remote.. That isn't the size of a small car. I needed remote control of the player at a meeting to play music when I needed it. This player fit the bill. I've been using it for a few months now and I'm very satisfied with it.

Disappointed
I ordered this for my son from QVC for Christmas. Two weeks later I shipped it back. It was great as long as you had the volume on high but when he wanted to listen to it on a low volume at night, there was alot of static even when you played a CD. It sounded like it was on a bad radio station although we were listening to CDs and cassettes. I ordered him the Sony CFD-F10...

I ordered this for my son from QVC for Christmas. Two weeks later I shipped it back. the boombox is compact and produces sound of a fine quality. We purchased it for an elderly lady and she has been totally delighted and completely satisfied with the product. She uses it often when she does her daily exercise on her stationary bike. Its great for the ear and great for the spirit.
