Working in an electronic store I had a good chance of always playing with all the gadgets most of the time my attention was towards home theatre products,i just couldn't help but to play around so much with dvdplayers and recievers and both at the same time including speakers.We got to the point were we could tell a diffrence not just in basic design,practical use,durability,looks,options but we got a good ear for sound.What we came to determine is the JVC recievers always had the best sound quality and we always used them in the store becouse of that and also we new the setup menus would be easy.That was 5 years ago and i still test all the new recievers I can but had to buy this one to its truly POWERFUL & CRISP sounding hook it up to a decent dvd player and you'll be good to go!Did I mention its easy to set up? BUY IT
