This is the best sound system I have ever owned!
The sound quality is THE BEST.
It goes VERY loud but stays clear.
It has so many cool features.
Keeps your ipod charged while playing.
It plays your ipod,cd's and any device you can hook up via usb-like a shuffle.
It looks like a $300-$500 stereo and sounds like one too!
I am so happy with the UXGN6 I have invited friends over to admire it, I have rocked out and cleaned more, and I am listening to more music just to play with it!! JVC has it featured on their site(they show a small clip of what it does)

If you are thinking about purchasing this stereo my advice is If you want the coolest stereo in town, and the option to have your block booming! Go ahead and get it!!

I couldn't have made a better purchase!! This system is super loud and stylish..LOVE IT!!

It's just cute! Very big sound in a small machine. The lighted face is just plain fancy and makes operation very easy. It only does one CD at a time but that's fine. The set up is about as simple as you can get even though the manual consists of just a few folded pages. The remote is about the size of a pack of cigarettes even though it's advertised as credit-card size. I "implanted" this unit onto a chest-level book shelf so I could take advantage of the lights and gadgets. One word of advice - the AM ONLY WORKS with the antenna fully deployed and that antenna is a square-shaped plastic hoop about 4 X 4 inches with a thin wire so "tucked" it between two books and it's hardly noticeable. The other word of advice is I could not register my unit on the internet - it may have been a glitch but after a few tries I gave up on product registration. And - most important - it's great to get rid of the 5-unit monster that never really sounded as good as this little giant.

Very nice system for its size. The sound is superb as well as the ease of use. The system was smaller in size than what I thought it would be which works out great for me. The only cons that I have is that you can't hook up a computer or tv to the system which is what I was hoping to be able to do and it has pre set EQ settings so you can't adjust the EQ the way that you might like to.
All in all this is a great sounding system for its size and I look forward to many years of use from it.

It looks great! Sounds ok...I expected a richer sound coming from JVC. The touch screen works great except for the area that adjust the volume. It is not very sensitive in that area and you have to touch it several times to get it to change the volume. Other then that I like it.

It has a powerful and clear sound. The USB port is a great feature, together with the Ipod dock and the MP3 CD reader. I am not so sure if the touch control for volume and fwd and back is a good thing, but I am getting used to that and do recommend this system.

I love this stereo... the sound is great... the illuminating lights are cool, the touch feature is fun as well. The ipod docking station recognizes the ipod immediately once it's docked. No complaints. Money well spent.

This is a minisound system for ipod with a CD player (single), FM and AM radio.

It comes with a fully functional remote, can be used as an alarm clock, and best of all has touch sensitive controls.

The sound is fabulous. I have quite a large living room and it fills it nicely with sound.

Only con is the instruction sheet. Its not complete enough. After the unit is set to standyby mode for a few moments the front panel flashes on and off. I am sure this is just a setting I didnt make but I can't find a mention of it anywhere in the instruction manual.

I will probably call JVC today to ask what I did not set. This is a new unit, I think I am one of the first to get it, so they probably left something out.

I have never had trouble with anything from JVC, always great quality. I will keep you all informed.

Purchased this from Amazon.com and we love it. Have been watching for a sale for a while and finally thought to look at Amazon. Was cheaper than the sale price at another outlet AND free shipping. also not disappointed at all with the machine. It is stylish and has all the options that we wanted. It also charges the ipod while it's connected!
The sound fills our entire second floor.

Decent quality, but may need mixer to improve. Choosing different tracks from iPod is difficult. Looks nice.
