Product Description

Amazon.com Product Description

JVC's XL-R910SLBK CD-R/CD-RW recorder packs a multitude of features in a slender chassis (under 11 inches) designed to match the components for JVC's MX series executive microsystems. The recorder works independently of those systems, however, offering recording features like an adjustable record-level control for analog inputs, 2x finalize (and, for CD-RW, 2x unfinalize), and synchro recording (digital copying of all tracks or 1 track, initiated when you hit play on the source machine).

Using a component CD recorder maintains audio quality during CD-to-CD transfers and greatly simplifies the process of committing analog sources like tapes, LP records, videocassettes, and radio to compact disc. The XL-R910SLBK uses only recordable CDs marked as being for audio or music; computer-grade data CDs will not work.

Optical digital-audio input and output facilitate hookup with a CD or minidisc player/recorder or a surround receiver, while analog RCA inputs and outputs accommodate just about any audio source. In addition to random play, the unit offers CD track programming for sequences up to 30 tracks long, and repeat play (1/all).

You can feed the recorder digital-audio signals from minidisc or DAT recorded at 32 or 48 kHz sampling rates, and the unit performs sampling-rate conversion to CD's native 44.1 kHz on the spot. A choice of auto or manual track writing lets you take the reigns to determine where the song breaks will be--or you can simply put the recorder on auto-pilot (with digital recordings) and it will duplicate the track start and end points found on your source disc.

Inputs and outputs include optical digital-audio input/output, a coaxial digital-audio output, and one each stereo analog RCA line input and output. It also comes with a full-function remote control.

What's in the Box
CD recorder, a remote control, remote batteries, 2 stereo analog audio cables, an optical digital-audio cable, a user's manual, and a warranty card.
