The bass is not to good eitheronce you put the volume over 3 it becomes all distorted. The headphones provided are not the greates but they are cool because they are colapsable. But the main reason for buying the unit was the remote control Wich i like very much. But what ireally hate about the unit is that when you open the cabinet it comes up i cm Then when you push it open it only opens 1/4 of the way. I would HIGHLY recomend a sony or a panasonic unit instead of this.

5.0 out of 5 stars Is this really JVC?, March 4, 2001

I can't believe that this CD Player was made by JVC. It's incredible. When I thought of JVC, I always thought a cheap brand that is made to hold you 'til you got something better. This CD Player proved me wrong. My Sony had broken and I decided to buy this one to hold me. I still have this CD Player, and it's the best one I have bought yet. It has Anti-Skip, and some really really nice, long lasting headphones. If you're looking for a great CD Player for a great price, get this one. It's so much better than anything out there right now.
