The JVC XM-R70SL is a personal minidisc player offering a myriad of recording options. Choose between analog or digital inputs, or plug in a microphone for natural sound recording. With the five-mode edit functions (join, divide, move, erase and title) the player gives many options for making digital recording easy to control. Editing is further enhanced by the side jog feature, digital syncro recording and the unit's large LCD display.Special Note: while the photo of the R70SL shows the unit's display having a backlit display, this is NOT the case. Only the remote has a backlit LCD display.This remote is an in-line, full-function remote which will allow you to control the MD player from a convenient and comfortable location. The player has forty seconds of anti-shock protection, making it a perfect companion while on the road or on the running track. With the included lithium rechargeable battery, the player has extra long playback time (thirty-eight hours) and long recording time (five hours) allow for plenty of time away from the included AC adaptor. The R70SL MD player has a smart sampling rate converter (32kHz, 44.1kHz and 48kHz.) Top all these features off with the player's compact size (less than one inch tall and just over 5 ounces) and you have a full-feature, highly-portable MD player. Other notable features include: hold, resume, repeat and random play and an included digital optical cable.
