I purchased this particular play gym at a bird store for a lovebird. It's not the fanciest or the sturdiest of play gyms but it does the job. This would be suitable for small parrots, like parrotlets, budgies (aka parakeets), lovebirds and perhaps baby cockatiels.

Pros:
*Easy to assemble (a fun project for parents and kids)
*Easy to clean (plastic)
*Visually appealing (bright colors but not obnoxious)
*Portable (easy to take from room to room or to pack for a trip)

Cons:
*Difficult to embellish with additional toys
*Somewhat flimsy -- if you drop this play gym, something is bound to break

I can't imagine that anyone would pay the $40 list price for such a small play gym. I know that I picked mine up in the $10-15.00 range and felt that it was a good buy for that price.

My budgie JoJo just loves this gym. He likes to climb up the ladders and he LOVES playing with the little chains dangling from the bell. I'm very glad I got this play gym for JoJo.

I would be careful purchasing products from this company. I bought this gym as a Christmas present, but received the product missing one of the most important parts -- the ladder! When I contacted the company originally, they said they would look into this and get back to me. I haven't heard from them since! They've been ignoring the e-mails I've sent since that one asking for a status and given absolutely no reply. I'm really disappointed!! An exchange or a refund would be welcomed, but I can't get any type of reply from them. Very frustrating!
