My lovebird uses this feeder for her pellet. I feed her zupreem Natural Cockatiel Pellets and the feeder regulates the amount of food and mess she eats, however since you have to turn it to allow the new food to come out, it is recommended that for a prolonged period of time (say more than 24 hours) it is recommended that you use a cup feeder to allow for more food to be available It is great

Very nice feeder for millet seed and the like. My birds love it and use it all the time. The food stays clean and lasts longer than the cup feeders.

I am writing a review on the PRODUCT not the seller. First of all, I bought this exact same Silo bird feeder at Petco so my parakeet wouldnt make a mess. Worst mistake ever. It seemed like a great product, advertising that it doesnt spill seeds and keeps seed husks. BIG LIE. There is a minor design flaw which causes a major problem. There is a small gap between the cage and the feeder. Its not noticeable until you pour in the seeds. The seeds scatter everywhere! The seeds fall through the tiny gap which causes seeds to spill into the cage floor and my floor. I thought it was supposed to keep seeds in not spill them all over the place. Any nudges or tiny movements cause and avalanche of seeds to spill out. The seeds are being wasted which costs money. definitely NOT worth the 6 dollars. I dont recommend this item at all. You can prob find a cheaper feeder elsewhere or at least a better built one. If I could rate this 0 stars I would! I cant return mine so im stuck with this piece of trash. Ill probably just end up modifying it and closing the gap, but its wasting time. Dont waste your money please! I wish someone had written a review on this thing before I went out and bought it. Oh well..
