These cups are great, they keep the birds from roosing above the food and contaminating it with birdy poop. I have several of these and would not trade them out for anything else. The food and water stays clean and uncontaminated.

We regularly replace our parakeets' water silos/dishes for a variety of reasons, mostly because they just don't work well or leak. When I saw the uniquely designed Insight Clean Cup at a local pet store, I decided to give it a try.

Installation was easy on our Insight cage with horizontal bars. Once in place the device doesn't move. It would be an easy task to move the clean cup up or down a bar.

There are many features I like about this feeder:
Easy installation
Nice aesthetics
A handly round perch for birds to access the water or food.
A clear plastic cover to keep bird droppings out of the water.
Small size of the water/food container for convenient and easy removal from the cage.

So far we like this new feeder a lot, so much so that I may buy a second one to use for their seed. Our birds are usually cautious to aproach anything new in their cage, but they accepted the new water container rather easily.

This nicely designed feed and water cup was made in China.

When I first purchased this item, I tried to wash all the parts by hand, while the top cover looks like it will come off it won't and I ended up breaking the piece, ruining the item. The screw is made of cheap plastic and will snap off really easily if you use this in a non-standard setting. (ie) I threaded one into the pvc of my bird's gym and when moving the pipe I accidentally snapped the screw off at the base. Overall, I think it is a decent product, if handled delicately

These are great little feeders and waters. It keeps the seed and water in and the poop out. The top also is designed as a scoop.

After years of watching my birds walking and pooping all over their open food cup, often kicking tons of seed onto the floor, it is nice to finally have a solution. I was so worried that they wouldn't want to put their heads into it, but within a day of introducing it they were eating with no problem at all. The medium cup is the perfect size for my two cockatiels.

very good item but i have a problem with it its not closing fully like how it shows on the picture for the twist move to remove the water container is this normal or is mine not made right?

These cups are made of a good durable, dense plastic. The medium is a good size for a cockatiel. The cup part is 3 inches wide & 2.25 inches deep. Holds 2 coffee scoops of pellets or right about 8oz of water. The clear lids do NOT come off, but the opening is wide so its no trouble to wash.

The holders stay in the cage & the cups twist & lift out very easily. I think they are very nice... and since they don't have to hook over a bar, like the old cups, I can put them in new places. They also stand alone on the counter- which is good because I have 4 of them to wash every day.

They have cut down on the pellet crumb mess too... by more than half. :)

Both of my girls had no trouble accepting these cups, and they are very different from their other cups.

Con- ONE of the plastic nuts was stripped out when I got it--- but I had other nuts, saved from some old JW toys, it fit perfectly.
