yess this is a pricey import but itz worth it. this is no neo jazz this is rockin jammin jazz with lots of electric blipz and synth bitz. musicians are credited above. this is the same band as the navel city recentelly released album but with adition of genji on sax, he does make an amazing contribution some what similar to mr pharoah sanders and byard lancaster but with his own flair, & hideo yamaki who's album shadow run with Hideo Yamaki: drums, flower pot, balafon; Yasuaki Shimizu: tenor and sopranino sax, keyboards; Toshinori Kondo: trumpet; Ryu Hongjun: Chinese flute; Foday Musa Suso: kora, dousongonni, vocal; Bernie Worrell: Hammond Organ, clavinet; Bill Laswell: bass; Ginger Baker: drums; Aiyb Dieng: percussion.
Recorded at Green Bird Studio, Tokyo on July 1992. Recording and mixing engineer: Oz Fritz.
Produced by Bill Laswell and Yasuaki Shimizu, is the most amazing combination of japaneese tactikz dub & african elementz.
The structure of the songs are upbeat jammin lots of sax soloin and keyboard, laswell playes verry light dub bass. their are some ambient sax and keyboard tracks without drum beat.
