Don't Waste Your Time,
By A Customer
This review is from: Jabez the Story: Why God's Heart Was Moved (Paperback)
This book was NOT based on spiritual insight and I felt it was a total waste of my time. He tried to introduce the story as a parable but didn't quite go over because it is pure speculation on his part. There are no biblical facts to corroborate his imagination. If indeed it was a parable, he should have used other characters and names to get his point across. And, he didn't answer any of the questions posed at the beginning of the book. Very disappointed that I purchased this book.

My Friend, the Author,
By David Del Conte (Capistrano Beach, CA United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Jabez the Story: Why God's Heart Was Moved (Paperback)
Jerry is one of my closest friends and brothers in the Lord andis one of the world's foremost experts in ADD/ADHD. He has done wonders helping me to use my ADD as the blessing from God that it is. Jerry has written several books, "Divine or Distorted" (God as we understand God), an ADD workbook (12 step format), and has ghost written many famous books for which he doesn't get credit. If you are familiar with the "Prayer of Jabez", and have read it, then this book will be a real treat to you. It tells the story of Jabez, the man. It is written in the form of an Haggada (a Jewish Parable), which is explained in the front of the book. |
