I specifically purchased this device to be used as a softphone with my company's VoIP solution (Microsoft OCS / Office Communicator). I was a little disappointed that in order to use this device with your PC you need to use the USB dongle (which I'm sure I'll probably lose eventually) and it was a little diffcult to pair with my headset. It was also a little concerning that the USB dongle isn't even made for that exact headset, but another Jabra headset (a cheap way to make the headset compatible as a softphone I guess). That being said, after a week or so I'm finally getting the hang of how to know when my device is paired correctly and how to configure my headset for things like VoIP, audio, and different online conferencing services (Live Meeting, GoToMeeting, etc.). Once the device is actually paired correctly and you know how to use it, the device is amazing! The headset has excellent audio quality, the range is amazing, and the noise cancellation is incredible. Overall I would recommend this device for what it does (audio, cell phone pairing) but be a little cautious when it comes to using this device a VoIP softphone.

I have had this for a little less than a year and I love it. I can answer either my office phone or cell phone using only one headset. The range is great and so is the sound quality. I can walk to any of the 4 offices in our office suite without dropping the call or decreased call quality. It is nice to be able to get up and walk around while on the phone and also to be able to type and work on clients policies while I am talking to them on the phone.

so far I like it. Noise canselling works, but it's not perfect. also signal range is far less then 70 meters, I'd say 20-30 meters which is still enough for me. I use it with skype

Would not buy again or recommend to anyone to buy. The on off switch is on the top of the unit so when you store or carry it the on switch get bumped and so every time you want to use it the battery is dead. The USB dongle is loose fitting and so when you wiggle it the unit goes off. The documentation pictures do not show that there is even an on off switch. Bottom line don't buy this unit. Buy the B230-M plantronics unit which comes with a hard case and nice design.

I bought on of these on eBay, and believe me, it's the worst bluetooth headset, or just headset for that matter, that I've ever used. Communications break up a lot, volume is very low even when the computer it's maxed out and the battery life it's just pathetic. If you really need or want a bluetooth headset, check your other options, and stay away from this.
