Outstanding performance,

I purchased the B250v for use with my new Motorola Razr (V3) phone. Never used bluetooth before and haven't been happy with past headsets. This is truly the exception. Once I realized I had to connect it as a "Handsfree" and not a headset, the sync went beautifully. Sound volume and clarity is great (this from someone who has a moderate hearing loss), and with about 10 hours of wearing over a couple days, comfort is fine. A little confusion initially on how to use the multi-function on/off button with the extended function set of the phone but that is expected when the design gets multiple functions with a minimum of buttons.Between auto answer and voice dial I can drive and use the phone with virtually no distractions of dialing and using.

JABRA COMMUNICATIONS BT250v The Best,

I had purchased several other manufacturers headsets for my Bluetooth phone and sent them all back. This headset is absolutely one of the top contenders. The unit is lightweight, unobtrusive, and works quite well. This unit is easy to pair with phone/computer. Don't settle for the ther "Uncomfortable" ones that cost a few dollars less.

Cellphone and headset success tends to be arbitrary. If you're doing research to buy, you need more info than "Does it work?", so here's mine:I have Cingular service and live in the south suburbs of Chicago. The new network seems to be working well here. I paired this with a Motorola RAZR v3. I've had it about a week and so far, I'm really pleased. Sound quality is clear (probably better than my phone!), no static, no weak signal messages. It's easy to operate; the main button at the top of the headset depresses easily and works well. The fit will depend on the size of your ear. You DO have to bend the top of your ear down to get the thing on, but it's nothing that bugs me. I have relatively small ears, and sometimes the fit can feel a BIT loose, but the headset hasn't fallen off and feels pretty secure most of the time. Jabra provides different rubber inner ear attachments with the unit - I'll experiment with them until I find the right one. As far as wind noise- I think people's expectations are a bit high when it comes to these things- they're not going to filter out all the loud noise while you're riding in your car with open windows. That said, my husband and I both own Jabras and talk during our car commutes with the windows open, and we can still hear each other without straining much. Bottom line- so far, I've had great luck. Consider your provider, phone type and other variables and apply this info to your situation before you spend the $100! Good luck!

After 1 week's use...,

I'd have to say that I'm pleased with the quality and design of this headset. I have a Motorola E815 and the connection works great. Only a few times has the connection been lost between the headset and phone but it'll reconnect on its own immediately.Pros: +Ear bud fits in ear canal, giving clearer sound with less volume +It "hugs" your ear so it won't fall as much as the other designs +If you adjust the volume right, you'll get clear reception with minimal static +So far, no complaints from other people about being audible Cons: -Tends to get heavy after a while. I can still "feel" it on my ear when I'm not wearing it -Poor button placement. Since the buttons are on the back, you have to press them against the back of your ear, which can get quite painful. Overall I think it's a good earpiece, although I am considering exchanging it for the lighter Plantronics Discovery 655. But if I had to stick with this piece, I wouldn't mind either.

Best Fit and Most Clear,

I have cingular for service and this bluetooth earpiece is the best for clearity and volume control..Motorola is less expensive for a reason..This one has custom earpieces that actually go in the ear canal and make hearing and volume control a breeze..You don't even know your wearing it..light and comfortable..

Battery Dies,

The battery in my Jabra headset won't hold a charge after about 3 months use and can't be replaced. Buy something else.

I really think the sound quality of two cans and a string is better than this headset. Voices are muddy and muffled at best. It sounds like the person you're talking to is holding a towel over their mouth. It has ZERO noise cancellation. The person on the other end hears every little sound in the background. If it's a prolonged sound like water running, or wind, forget it. It fits my ear fine. Big deal. It sounds horrible. This is my first bluetooth headset and I'm extremely disappointed. If this is as good as they get then they've got a LONG way to go. This is a step back into the audio quality of a 1970's hand held transistor radio. Not even THAT good. Don't buy the hype. This thing stinks.

This headset stopped working after a week. It was comfortable to wear, but apparently not reliable to use.

I have had this model head set for the last 10 years. I knew it was discontinued but didn't realize how long ago. the ones left the battery life is not near what they use to be and the rechargable battery is not replaceable. their are only a few left. and they don't work near as well as they did when they came out. They have been on the shelf too long and do not charge up to last the three days my old one did.

I ordered two of these. My boss is really "old-school" when it comes to blue-tooth. These are exactly what he wants. So glad that I was able to still buy them.
