The pump works good as it should. The push in fitting are not so good. The fittings leak. Had to attach fitting semi-permanently to keep them from leaking.

This pump moves water well, primes easily, is quiet and the quick release 360 degree swivel ports make placement easier than the old pump but they are only 1/2 inch and the boat water system is 5/8 ID. Jabsco only makes 1/2 and 3/4 inch barbs so I had to go to shur-flo for functional barbs.

Direct Fit replacement for model number. Works as should. Have not had any issues with leaking. Used to replace nonfunctioning water pump from '06 boat.

I plan to amend this review in the future, but here are my initial experiences.
The pump is nicely packaged, included several fittings, and a limited amount of documentation. I also purchased the Jabsco 30573-0000 Marine Pressurized Water Accumulator Tank with Bladder (1-Liter), which I'll review separately, to use with the pump. In my very limited use/test of this pump, it was very quiet, and supplied adequate pressure to trigger my hot water heater. The only problem I experienced was that the plug & snap connectors, with double o-rings, used for hooking up the hoses seemed to leak from the connections between the pump and accumulator tank, even when fully inserted and snapped in place. I used a short 2" piece of clear plastic hose with hose clamps and the provided fittings to the connect the pump and accumulator together. I didn't have the resources and time to troubleshoot, but possibly some silicone caulking might help. I plan to use the whole setup to pump water for a basic shower and hot water at my off-grid property in the mountains next summer. I won't have a chance to amend this review until next summer.

After contimnating my 12 year old Shurflo fresh water pump , I decided to buy a new unit. As Jabsco seems to be a market leader , I decided to change brands. The new unit is made in China unlike the old unit made in the US. I was found the installation to be easy as the mounting bolt pattern is identical. The picture is incorrect as the unit does NOT have right angle fittings (only straight ones).They are available. Not sure about the claim that an accumulator is Not required as I've never owned one. The pump is working smoothly. I hope it lasts at least as long as the old one.

I bought this unit as a replacement on my hurricane boat. After changing the unit out I found that I had better pressure than the original unit had. I am very satisfied with it and would not hesitate to buy another if needed in the future

Is the third device I purchased in less than 2 years, for the fresh water tank in my boat. Definitively, next time i will look for another brand because is unacceptable it does not last at least 2 years.

I use this and a 28 Gallon plastic tote as a saltwater live well on my center console. It works well, but I've had better luck with higher flow rates. Price and shipping were tough to beat though.
