Josh happens to be a friend of mine. I say this because I have met him and hung out for a while after concerts he has sacrificed his time and energy for, for a greater cause.He makes you feel like a best friend. His older material is raw and amazing. Now he has polished just enough to strengthen his folk and hip hop roots.
This album is beautiful and has been created by an amazing human being for God and his children.

This album is amazing. Poetic, creative, talented, fresh, genuine, and I could go on and on. New sound and excellent vocals. One of those albums you may just never tire of.

Josh Garrel's newest cd is refreshing and unique. As one who listens to a good bit of Christian music, Josh's "style" and lyrics take me to a deeper place. I have been looking for something different than what is played on many of the Christian radio stations (not a criticism). Josh offers something that brings a new message that needs to be heard and a style of music that is heartfelt. I highly recommend his newest work.

The level of craftsmanship in this work is desperately needed, long overdue, and much appreciated. This is what I have been searching for. True art.

Very talented artist, catchy tunes, large variety of instruments used in this album. Songs range from easy, cafe style sounds, to fast percussive songs with foreign instruments.

Josh Garrels displays what is lacking in so much "Christian" music and music in general: CREATIVITY! A wonderful variety of musical styles and thought provoking words make this a fantastic album. My favorites: Zion & Babyon, Words Remain, & Rejoice and Lament.

A must buy! Josh Garrels is a musical genius and has so much quality and passion to his music. His lyrics are filled with positive messages that will transcend you to a brighter perspective of our future, a futuristic love. This is music that will assist you in healing and growth on all your endeavors in life.

This was the first Josh Garrels cd I have owned and it exceeded my expectations. I had heard of Josh Garrels before, but never really looked into what he was doing musically. I decided to pick up this cd and it was worth every penny. The music is excellent, but the lyrics are what really brings the songs to life. Josh's way of writing about deep spiritual topics is something that everyone can relate to. I'm so glad I picked up this cd and since then, I have gotten 2 other cds of his. A definite buy for anyone who loves music. All praise to The Creator!

Ok, so I think the title ^^ says it all. Josh Garrels is an amazing artist and is truly in his element with Jacaranda. I really cannot say enough about this album. If you are reading this, buy it. Just buy it. And don't go steal it from somewhere else. A great indie artist like this needs and deserves the money you will spend.

Incredible musical taste. Amazing simplicity, and powerful lyrics. This i a very good piece of musical worship. Basic on any christian CD collection.
