This innovative fruit and vegetable peeler features a patented, built-in chamber that retains peels during use. Scraps are held in the durable, thermo-plastic chamber, eliminating messy peelings and clogged sinks. The double sided stainless steel blade allows for both right and left handed use. Operation is as easy as 1, 2, 3. Step 1: hold the Veggie Peel in either the right or left hand with the blade facing toward the floor. Hold the fruit or vegetable to be peeled in the other hand. Move the blade of the Veggie Peel against the skin of the fruit or vegetable. Peelings will automatically flow into the chamber. Step 2: to empty chamber, simply remove the snap-on soft chamber lid. Empty chamber contents by pointing open end of container downward. Place snap-on soft lid back onto open chamber end. Step 3: clean-up and clean-up is easy because the Veggie Peel is dishwasher safe. To clean in a dishwasher, place the Veggie Peel on the top shelf of the dishwasher away from heating element. The Veggie Peel can also be cleaned by hand using warm soapy water if a dishwasher is not available or desirable.
