5.0 out of 5 stars 4.5 Blue Ribbons from Romance Junkies!, June 23, 2009
This review is from: Jaci's Experiment (Resonance Mates) (Paperback)
An Alvian, Jaci messed up and she knows it. She can sense the emotions and feelings moving through her body. She knows it is only a matter of time before the people in charge figure out that she accidentally ingested experimental genes. Forcing herself to remain as unemotional as her handlers and society expect, Jaci's freedom comes at night. At night the two human men she is supposed to be studying but have fallen in love with, invade her dreams and keep her safe. When morning comes, however, Jaci is once more forbidden to show any emotion; to do so would make her suspect and immediately put on a list for removal.

Mike and Dave are both psychic. Before being captured by the Alvians, they used their abilities to succeed in the business world. Now, however, they will have to use their skills to keep Jaci, the Alvian woman whom they love, from harm. Daily they watch the woman they adore become more and more humanlike. When they realize that her DNA has changed and she could be on the list to be destroyed, Mike and Dave plan their rescue. The only time they are safe to show their feelings for Jaci is through dream walking, but they both know that soon all three of them will be together. After all, if the hum Jaci is hearing is correct, then they are Resonance Mates and will hopefully have the law on their side.

Bianca D'Arc is constantly changing and improving as a writer each and every time I read one of her books. JACI'S EXPERIMENT is a testimony to her ability to formulate, plot, and invariably write some of the most risqué but sweetest ménages I have ever read. Mike and Dave love Jaci - that is apparent. Their ability to invade her dreams made me blush more than once, but luckily enough I was able to continue to read because I couldn't put JACI'S EXPERIEMENT down. Jaci's characterization is perfect for this storyline. Her swiftly changing DNA and change from unemotional alien to that of a resonance mate and lover of two men is written perfectly.

As this is the third book of the Resonance Mates series, I enjoyed seeing some characters previously introduced in the first two installments. Ms. D'Arc even leaves readers with quite a cliff hangar at the end that has me chomping at the bit for book four. If you are a fan of ménage love stories in which the female is the main focus, look no further. JACI'S EXPERIMENT is the book for you!

5.0 out of 5 stars Another Amazing Resonance Mates Book, April 23, 2010
I love this series and this book is another great episode in the ongoing saga. Can't wait to get right on to Grady's Awakening. He plays a decent-sized part in this book as do the other humans/aliens we've come to know and love. There are so many other great stories waiting to be told. I can't wait to see what Ms. D'Arc does next.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Series not to be missed, October 22, 2009

This is the first time I have read anything by Biance D'Arc and I have to say that this series is so wonderfully written. I haven't been able to put these books down once I started them. The world that she creates is so believable. I hope this series continues on for years to come with many many more books. I love this series and look forward to being taken on another adventure.

I am a new fan of D'Arc.

5.0 out of 5 stars Jaci's Experiment-A Joyfully Recommended Title!!, July 22, 2009
Jaci has a problem. She exposed herself to an experimental skin patch that causes emotions to come out of an emotionless person. If it is found out that she has been dosed with the experiment, she is as good as dead.

Turning to the human test subjects for help is Jaci's only option. Will they help her?

Mike and Dave had stayed a step ahead of the Alvian for a long time until the aliens sent their best after them. Being psychic has helped the cousins keep their sanity as well as the others in their cell block.

When Jaci goes on the run to avoid Alvian justice, will Mike and Dave help her in her time of need? Will Jaci be able to control the emotions that are washing over her? Can two different species have a happy ending?

Jaci's Experiment is other worldly and hot, hot, hot. Jaci's growth is the best part of the story. Watching her go from no emotions to all emotions was fabulous. Bianca D'Arc really knows what she is doing. Mike and Dave are perfect for Jaci and I love watching the three interact. It was nice to revisit the characters from the first two books and it really helped round out a wonderful story. I can't wait for the next story in this series because Ms. D'Arc keeps me wanting more.

I am Joyfully Recommending Jaci's Experiment because it is the best story in the Resonance Mates series. Jaci's Experiment is a story about growth with lots of love and laugher, as well as an action-packed story that made me want only good things for Jaci, Mike and Dave. The world created by Ms. D'Arc is so rich and wonderful that I hope it never ends.

4.0 out of 5 stars solid futuristic, October 24, 2009
This review is from: Jaci's Experiment (Resonance Mates) (Paperback)
This was a solid futuristic that was fairly easy to read and introduced some interesting characters. Jaci was particularly intriguing as we follow her transformation from unemotional almost droid like to a person of feeling and passion. Also, the men are pretty hunky, so I hope the author will feature in her upcoming books!

I read it very quickly but had a little difficulty orienting myself in the beginning because I was so excited when I received it that I skipped the prior book before because it had not arrived yet. So I found it a bit confusing at first. I would recommend reading them in order since characters reappear.

In short, if you are looking for a steamy paranormal that is fast and light read I think you will enjoy it, too!
