The Jack Benny Christmas Show of 1953 and The Red Skelton Christmas Show of 1951. 1) Jack Benny: With Mary, Don, Bob Crosby and Sheldon Leonard. This time we find Jack on his annual Christmas shopping trip with Mary in Palm Springs. Jack decides to buy Don a Christmas gift of dates, but he is undecided...plain dates or dates with nuts. It is truly a hilarious sketch with Mel Blanc as the harried clerk going "nut". 2) Red Skelton: "Deadeye" goes into the woods to cut Christmas trees to sell in the city. Clem Kadiddlehopper is a Christmas tree salesman, Red is also "Junior, the mean little kid", starring as "The Little Christmas Tree" in a holiday pageant, where he and Santa have quite a discussion.
