5.0 out of 5 stars Laugh out loud funny.
A wonderfully funny coming of age novel that has somehow gone out of print. I found it in a used bookstore and found it a fun read. The author mines for laughs with commendable economy of language. I read this book some time ago, possibly 1988. This is the book that inspired me on my mastubatory kick as a young man. This is raw language at it's most digusting and graphic of a teenager struggling with his sexuality and that of others. Very strange to say the least. This is raw language at it's most digusting and graphic of a teenager struggling with his sexuality and that of others. Very strange to say the least. The stories, told in episodic manner, reflect the darkness of the American writer as of the last thirty years, without any of the elequonce of the greater ones. It's quite a horror show but one that must be read. Not for the kiddies or the faint of heart!
