Dr. Jack de Groot was born on 4 July 1952 in The Netherlands. He studied Spanish literature at the University of Queensland (Brisbane) which resulted in a PhD (1999). He is a Member of the Directorial Board of the University Press of the South, New Orleans USA. More information on http://jackdegroot.com

Interests: Camino de Santiago, Galicia, Andalucía. Asturias, Cantabria, País Vasco, Federico García Lorca, Luis de Góngora.
