5.0 out of 5 stars What a surprise!
This is actually a really great soundtrack. Why don't they put this much work into the soundtracks for movies that don't bomb?

Michael Keaton's song, "Have a Little Faith," is actually really great. Honestly. Who would have thought? I have newfound respect for the man.

Jars of Clay's song is actually called "Five Candles (You Were There)"...

Jars of Clay's song is actually called "Five Candles (You Were There)" and is excellent. It's from their album "Much Afraid". I was surprised to see Bob Carlisle on here. He's pretty good.

Anyway, this is a surprisingly good soundtrack. I don't care much for the Spice Girls, but I'm actually warming up a but to Hanson now that they aren't popular. :-)

I actually recommend this. I doubt anyone will ever buy it anyway. Oh well.

If you like this and want to know some other stuff you might like, e-mail me. I really know my music. You tell me what you like, and I'll be able to recommend some stuff you've never heard of, guaranteed, free of charge. :-)

4.0 out of 5 stars A pretty good, but not exceptional, CD, January 3, 2002

This CD, in my opinion, had some good, solid tunes. Most of the songs from the movie were there, such as "Hey Now Now", the song played when Charlie and his dad (the snowman) sled down the hill away from the bullies. However, one song is missing from the collection. The song played when Charlie builds the snowman (who ends up to be his dad), is, in my view, a very emotional and wonderful song. I was disappointed to find that it was missing from this CD. I even tried to find out the name and author of the song, but I didn't come up with any results. Nonetheless, unless you are dying to hear that song like I am, you should buy this CD. For those of you who enjoyed the movie, it is definitely worth the money.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Great Soundtrack For A Great Movie, January 30, 2000
This review is from: Jack Frost: Music From The Motion Picture (Audio CD)
The music in this movie was great. I bought this CD when I had no intrest in music at all, but I heard Hanson's song on the preview, liked it, and bought this for that (It's a shame their other songs were a waste of time). That and the fact I going to fly to New Jersey and needed something to keep me company. I liked 98% of this CD. I liked it so much I saw the movie and loved that too. If you've seen the movie the song were Carlie builds the snowman isn't in this CD. Nor is the song the plower listens either. Other than that, a great CD. Now they just need to make a soundtrack with great music for a movie that doesn't bomb.

This soundtrack to the movie Jack Frost is awsome. It has several songs on it that just make you feel great when you listen to them. It has some upbeat ones and some slow ones, I dont think I could pick a favorite because they all sounded awsome. I would reccomend this CD, for everyone and not just for the holidays for anytime.

Love the movie, love the music. Michael Keaton is awesome. His acting has always been great but I was happily surprised to hear how well he sings. Love this CD.

4.0 out of 5 stars Another song is missing, November 27, 2011
This review is from: Jack Frost: Music From The Motion Picture (Audio CD)
Good collection of songs. The other reviews mention a song missing. The one I miss the most is "Every time we say goodbye". It plays for a very short time in the movie but it has a lot of impact. It's also the song Gab asks for when she says "Sing me a smile, Jack". It took me a while to find out whose version it is since there are so many. It's actually Ray Charles' version. Thought you guys might want to know.

I thought this movie was really good, corny...but good. Part of what made it so good was the music. My favorites are You Were There, Hey Now Now and the two tunes that Michael Keaton sings. He is a pretty damn good blues singer. I wish he would so some other stuff.
