Nicholas Kaufmann is the Bram Stoker Award, Thriller Award, and Shirley Jackson Award-nominated author of General Slocum's Gold (Burning Effigy Press), Hunt at World's End (as Gabriel Hunt, Dorchester), Chasing the Dragon (ChiZine Publications) and the collection Walk in Shadows (Prime Books, out of print). Professionally immersed in books his whole life, he's been the Publicity Manager for a small literary press, a pitchman for a widely respected PR firm specializing in TV and radio author appearances, a bookstore clerk, an independent bookstore owner (the late, lamented Tell-Tale Books), a manager for Barnes & Noble, as well as the manager for a small indie video store. Nick lives in Brooklyn, NY.
