I bought this chair for my 12 month old grandson. He can get in and out of it without any problems. Instructions were easy to follow except the seat didn't have any screw holes and the screws they said to use were too small. Luckily I had some extra screws that worked. One arm wasn't varnished so my husband had to do it. Nice rocker for the money.

Since my 2 year old granddaughter received this for her birthday we can't get her out of it. It is well made and we expect for her to have use of it for years.

Chair pictured is NOT what you will receive!!,

It arrived fast. I put it together in about an hour. It looks really nice, feels sturdy and my daughter wanted to sit in it instantly. Thats where this chair fails in my opinion. The design of the seat portion is just dumb. You cant see it in the pictures, but each one of the slats of wood on the seat extends out about an inch from the front support. And there is about an inch gap in between these slats. This means that when my daughter sits in it, the backs of her legs and knees gets scratched by these protruding wooden pieces. You expect the front of the seat of a chair to be nice and smooth so that you legs can rest against it with no problems. Not the case here. I guess I'm gonna try to wrap some foam or something around the front of the seat so she will actually sit in it. Its a shame, I really had higher expectations. Looks great though...
Update: Contacted the seller as I noticed that the picture of the chair does not match what I have received. The seat on the above chair has all the boards touching with no gaps and there are 8 total boards. Mine only had 6. The seller responded that the manufacturer mustve changed the design and offered me a 20% discount. I call this false advertising. I want what I paid for, not a $5 discount.
