Be careful with this one. On the outside of the course it says, "Jack Schwager's Complete Guide to Mastering the Markets". On the first page it says, "The Jack Schwager Trading Course - Your complete guide to mastering the markets". On the bottom of every page in the course it says, "Jack Schwager's Complete Guide to Designing and Testing Trading Systems". Which is it? It's the latter..a guide to designing and testing trading systems. While I have a great regard to for Jack Schwager, I think there is some deception in the title of this course. This course is totally about developing and testing mechanical trading systems and should have clearly said so in the title. The printed written material has page after page of Trade Station EasyLanguage programming code. I'm sure the course material is very good if you want to know how to develop mechanical trading systmes but this is definately not what I was expecting or wanted when I ordered the course. Regarding the video quality, although the first DVD didn't work in my course, what I saw of a couple of the other DVD's (that's all I looked at before sending back the course) were of excellent quality with Jack Schwager talking to the camera in an office setting. Just be sure you want a course on developing and testing mechanical trading systems before you buy this item.

According to the previous review, this is like all of the Trader's Library videos and is just cheap recordings taken at a trader's conference. FALSE! They did not look at these videos and have an axe to grind and their one review effectively trashed this product unfairly. This is actually a carefully put together 12 DVD set encased in a book that is over 200 pages. In the very first DVD, you see the author video taped in an office setting, NOT BEFORE A LIVE AUDIENCE, and the video is properly edited with interspersed stock charts to illustrate the discussion. There are proper video graphics throughout.

This may be a workshop, but it in no way resembles the type of environment the other reviewer falsely identified it as being set in. Their review should be removed in my opinion because it is untrue.

As many of you will know, Jack Schwager knows a thing or two about the markets from his previous collections of trader wisdom and interviews with master traders. This is his effort to put together a comprehensive course. I do agree that some of the Trader's Library videos have poor production quality, but the slam on this one is simply false and untrue. This set has plenty of merit if you want a thorough trading course.
