This is the second bag that I have bought. The first was stolen. The second bag began to fall apart in less than 60 days and when I asked Amazon they said "find and email Jack Spade USA". So I did. They sent me back to Amazon. Who then sent me back to Jack Spade? Who then suggested that I drive to Chicago to turn the bag in for servicing?
That is a 4 hour drive (one way) from my home. They then asked that I take two photos of the item and locate the original receipt and email them. I did. They then sent me an RMA and an address and told me that I would need to wait 4 weeks to get the item repaired - and the shipping was on me.
I will have it repaired locally and will then sell it on eBay for $50 and go buy another Crumpler. I spend over $400 with this company and the only thing that I realized is that the sales of these items must be equally distributed between the rich and the ignorant. I am going to try harder to not be either.
lovely bag.. My first one lasted for 7 years. It would've lasted so much longer had the stitches been stronger. The body and canvas is stil very good but the stitch connecting the shoulder strap to the bag started falling apart. :/
