I carry a 13" ultrabook and wanted a slim, professional looking bag for my IT consulting work. I was previously using a similar sized bag from REI, but didn't like the cheap look of the nylon material. This Jack Spade bag has been sitting on my wish list for a long time due to its price, but I'm happy I finally bought it.
What I like: -- Slim with very clean lines. -- Waxwear canvas has a very nice appearance vs. nylon and is still very durable. -- Leather handles are a nice touch. -- None of the student-ish appearance of a backpack, nylon or messenger bag. -- 3 main compartments + plenty of pockets inside and out. -- Unknown bonus: it can stand upright on its own.
What I don't like: -- The price.
