This double CD highlights Psychic TV's acid house dance music peak. Titled Jack the Tab TEKNO ACID BEAT, it is the second best album by the band followed only by TOWARDS THE INFINITE BEAT. My assessment of this album is that it takes lysergic (LSD) rock to psychedelic heights never dreamed of by those posers The Beatles (just kidding)!
Psychic TV presents psychedelic dance in a way that just encourages you to get up & dance & have a good time. They also use very clever samples like those from Ken Kesey!

Yes, Genesis P created this music under different group names in order to make it seem that there was a bigger acid house scene in England than there was, but he did it brilliantly. I get a kick out of "Take the gun" with the Beatles loop. What a crack-up! If you like this sort of music,then this is definately for you!
