Jack Welch was a late adopter of almost every major management trend in the last 25 years, yet he got better results from using these ideas than most other companies did. His secret is revealed in this good overview of the Welch years: He spent 90% of his time communicating with people about what they must do in order to take advantage of these ideas. Most people spend almost no time on this critical area. You should think of this book as a great primer then on corporate communications.
