Book Description

A dog (Jack) and his person (The Tall Guy) decide to write a book, mostly about the dog. But don't worry, no dogs die at the end of THIS book! (Unlike some other books about yellow Labs)

Aren't you tired of reading books about vampires? Wouldn't a book about a zombie puppy be more interesting? Yeah, I thought so too. I guess I'll have to work on that for the next book. In the meantime, here's a book about a dog named Jack.

I just purchased my Kindle a few days ago and spent a good deal of time downloading a lot of content I thought that I would like to read. Today I read this entire little book while on a road trip. It was funny - I laughed out loud a few times - and fun. I also liked the pictures the author included to really give us a glimpse into Jack's life. It was pretty hilarious to read the imaginary banter between the author and his dog. And, hooray - Jack, as promised, does NOT die in this book. I actually didn't want this story to end, but was pleasantly surprised to find that when it did, I could hop online and visit the blog about Jack and his continued adventures at [...] Definitely worth the download!

5.0 out of 5 stars Finally, a funny animal book May 10, 2011

Let me first establish that I do not own a dog and do not usually read books about dogs.. I stopped reading books about animals years ago because too many of them end with the animal dying. Therefore, I really like the title of the book. The book is funny and thought provoking. I enjoyed pretending that a dog can talk and getting the dog's perspective on the TG. I hope this is the beginning of a series of humor books by Ray Braswell and Jack, of course.

3.0 out of 5 stars Nice that the dog doesn't die
Light reading. It was OK but I don't think that a person that wasn't as crazy about dogs as I am would enjoy it as much

5.0 out of 5 stars Hilarious!!!
I have read this book many times and I love it! This totally reminds me of my own food-obsessed dog. Please ignore the negative comments.
There should definetly be a sequel!!

I have a lab exactly like Jack. I laughed out loud while reading this book. My only complaint is that I finished it too quickly!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Book
I really enjoyed this book. It was unique, being written from the dog's view. Must read for any animal lover.

5.0 out of 5 stars a truly happy dog story
I whole hardly recommend this book. It's true that too many dog stories end sadly but not this one. It's sweet and funny and I hope that there will be sequels.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not for adults
Sounds like something my 5 year old granddaughter would have written. A child might like reading it but very boring for adults....

Sad attempt at sucking a dog-lover into purchasing this book. I bought it and am super disappointed. Read more
