Wow--now I know why quilters revere Judy Murrah. Lots of methods to apply quilting technique. Lots of ideas. Lots of color combinations. Lots of jazzy jackets. Better still, patterns are included--whadda deal!
Great vehicle for a sewist to traverse the divide between garment construction and quilting as embellishment. Would I buy it again or tell friends about this book? In a minute, even though my quilting friends rarely construct garments ... c'est la vie! Readable books that demystify the art of piecing fabric for either hand and/or machine quilting are few. This is one of the best.
