Trivia buffs will note that Lady Gangster was directed by "Florian Roberts," a pseudonym for Robert Florey, who directed the Marx Brothers in "The Cocoanuts" in 1929.

On Disc Two of the Jackie Gleason Collection, "The Great One" joins Ol' Blue Eyes when he guest-stars on The Frank Sinatra TV Show. In this hilarious episode from 1950, Gleason teaches the famous crooner a few camping tricks when they decide to spend the weekend in a cabin up in the hills.

Plus, join Jackie Gleason as he hosts his first variety show, Cavalcade of Stars, where the young comedian not only introduces the events but plays the new marshal in town of a side-splitting cowboy spoof.

Gleason's pet project "GIGOT", about a mute and young girl in pre-war Paris should have been included here. This heart-breaking film of his has vanished off the face of the planet...including the VHS version. I have heard that Director Gene Kelly was so incensed about edits requested of him by the studio that he decided to keep it from re-release. How very petty, controlling, and sad. Perhaps his estate will reconsider and seek a release on DVD.

I agree. I can't believe "Gigot" is not in this collection!! It was one of my favorite Gleason films!

This dvd set of jackie gleason is a very slim example of great dvd quality,it certainly was not the a@E special of jackie gleason,I would tell everyone to skip this dvd set and wait for the set of the jackie gleason show coming out from MPI Video the distributors of the dark shadows sets..
