Jackie Hoffman is a very, very funny woman. She's a terrific singer to boot. This cd had me laughing so hard while I was driving, I practically had an accident. Now, if that isn't an endorsement..what is?

Not for everyone.

Brash, bawdy and beautiful Jackie Hoffman offers her own unique point of view though songs and stories. Highlights being "You're a Jew" and "A Woman from the Upper West Side," though all of them are gems.

Recommended for fans of Amy Sedaris, Kathy Griffin, and early Bette Midler. In other words: gay men who like to laugh at others.

This is one of my favorite cabaret CDs. Jackie Hoffman is perhaps the funniest performer working. Caustic and clever, once you've enjoyed this CD, you'll become a fan and a quoter!

After watching Jackie's humorous video blog on [...] complete cycle, shot while the comedienne was in previews for Addams Family, I bought this disc. It was clever how she planted the mentions in her blog during interviews with other cast members. This CD is hilarious from first number to last. I regret that I was not aware of Jackie's insane humor while she was here in Chicago during pre-Broadway tryout of the Addams Family. I believe she was performing the musical standup at the Royal George. The material from Joe's Pub is non-stop, high-octane, completely irreverent humor. Some of the material is quite mature, but if that is your cup-of-tea, you'll be crying from laughing!
