...vomit. This album is awful. Not just awful, but DEADLY AWFUL with a capital A. When I tell you that this is the worst rap cd I have ever heard in my life, then trust me. I wish I could give this cd NO stars and I have never felt this way about any rap cd.Not even 50!! I can't even bring myself to talk about the songs. There is nothing original about these songs. They sound like an over-hyped production team who's name starts with a N (you know who I am talking about...check Kelis's cds). Plus Chingy has no rap skills. NONE!! I rather listen to Lil' Jon and the Eastside Boyz than this. I am glad I got this as a gift. I work hard for my money and I want quality when I buy something. This is NOT quality.

Chingy, the newest MC from St. Louis, hometown of Nelly and the St. Lunatics, delivers his debut album on Disturbing Tha Peace Records, the label started by (until now) exclusively 'Dirty South' rapper Ludacris. While it's clear that Chingy has the ability to get the party started, that seems to be the only thing he's able to focus on without messing everything up.

"Jackpot" is almost entirely about women, and Chingy tries to be degrading and sensitive at the same time. "Sample Dat ..."really shouldn't be followed by "One Call Away". Anytime he tries to be the least bit serious, it comes off sounding stupid because of his odd voice. Fortunately, that doesn't happen often. You'll find that the best songs are the party/sex songs, and since that's what most of them are, Chingy gets at least 5 or 6 great tracks out of it.

"Right Thurr" and the remix are both real nice, and "Wurr's My Cash" a classy ... ballad comes off well. "Madd @ Me", "Sample Dat ...",and "Juice" are also worth listening to. The best track on the whole album is by far "Bagg Up" which allows Chingy to drop some surprisingly slick lyrics to a smooth beat.

In the end, "Jackpot" is an album you should come to if you're looking for some decent driving or partying music, but if you're looking for subject matter, steer clear.

Why Must We Rap About The SAME SH*T, All The Time! Money, Cars, Clothes, Weed, Alcohol, And Of Cousre Women! Oh And Then Of Course To Do A Song Just For The Ladies, Then Do A Few More About Thier Strory, How Bad That Had It And That's It, 14-17 Tracks, Thats What We Pay For!! 90 Percent Of These Rappers Wouldn't Exist If Tupac Was Here! All HIP-HOP Fans Need To Support Real Lyricists, TRUE Poetic, Philosophical, Revolutionary, Political MUSIC And NOT This HIP POP/POP HIP HOP!!! If It Wasn't For Nas, Jay-Z, DMX, And About 5 Other Artist, This "Culture" We Call HIP-HOP Would Be Completely Vanished, But Nevertheless It's Getting There!! Anyone Who Agrees Or Not, Let It Be KNOWN!

Well Chingy seems to think he is a pimp. These rappers don't have real game, understand. The women you see them with are gold-diggers, they were attracted to these rappers beecause of their wealth, not their charisma, there is a big difference. I know a few kids who wish they could be like these rappers and have all these women. Don't be fooled my friend. Chingy may think that he is a rapper, but he is being milked systematically by his "women". I'll tell you what game is, Chingy and your wannabe friends at DTP: Game is when you approach a women and you don't flaunt your money and she is attracted to you. Now you understand Chingy!
Oh by the way, this Cd sucks horribly. The man is destroying the youth of America with his horrible slang. " I like the way you do that right thurr!" how very profound Chingy! Any other philosophies to share? "I'm chillin at the Holidae inn!" Oh great Chingy, so instead of finding you reading a book, we can simply find you at the Holidae inn. What a great role model!

This is the same person that has reviewed this CD at least 100 times in different accounts. I can tell because it's always the same review format: "This cd is awesome. Since blah blah blah." This person should never be allowed to use this site again because all he/she does is abuse it. All I would like to say to this person is: If you like this CD so much, instead of writing 100 two-sentence reviews on it, why don't you write us 3-4 paragraphs, and go into more detail on why you like it, and the good/bad things about this CD.

Was he just tryna portray himself as a joke by putting this garbage out? Coz if he was, well congratulations, coz you've succeeded. This album is CRAP. He's unoriginal, jacking ideas for songs from other rappers, and he has NO talent WHATSOEVER. He can't rap, he has ridiculous pop beats that shouldnt even count as hip-hop, shhtty production, features more pathetic rappers, yet ppl actually take this guy seriously. What you hear on the radio is CRAP. jay-z, this guy, ja rule, eminem, 50 cent, g-unit, d12, lloyd banks, ETC., they all suck and have no talent. Don't support garbage like this, ppl think this is good because its the best """"hip hop"""" on the radio. ITS THE ONLY "HIP-HOP" ON THE RADIO! All the artists that i listed as garbage is pretty much all you hear on the radio. Listen to UNDERGROUND rap if u want some REAL hip hop. They have REAL beats, CAN rap, PROPER production, some sweet as collab's, and rappers i am talking about are ppl such as esham, dilated peoples, jurassic 5, EARLY nas (illmatic), wu-tang, krs-one, rakim, talib kweli, pharoahe monch, kool keith, chino xl, three 6 mafia, the d.o.c., natas, EARLY twista (NOT his new crap), canibus, styles of beyond, organized confusion, gangsta pat, dayton family, THERE i listed plenty for you to get, don't get this crap, start some of the REAL hip hop that i just listed, coz they have talent, and if u think this pop crap is good, then these rappers will totally blow you away! Make the change NOW.

stop dissin' outkast, chingy fan. andre 3000 should beat you over the head with a guitar, which raises another point. dre is talented, chingy is NOT. so you betta stop dissin rappers that are actually talented. and i've also noticed that chingy fan refers to lots of things as "watered down" when he tries to diss them. i'll tell you whats "watered down" : Chingy Fan's brain function. anyone who likes chingy should be ashamed of themself.

Haha, thurr, and holidae. Plus the songs are bad bad bad. One call away is stupid, and only idiots actuallyl ike this. If i didnt make sense, its because im soundin dumb... like thurr.

All of this southern rap bullshizzle needs to stop (i.e. Lil jon ying yang twins petey pablo and juvenile etc..) the beats always sound the same from all of these artist. Go listen to some real hip hop like Jay Z or Kanye West or hell even Usher. ANYTHING IS BETTER THAN CHINGY!!

I'd like to start off with a quick statement. If you have bought this CD, we have you to blame for how bad our music industry is in. You've been duped into buying the musical equivalent of a Geo Metro with no wheels and 1 of its 3 cylinders busted.
First, if this CD was intended to be party music, they've missed the mark by a few hundred miles. Party music should be fun. Fun this CD is not. Its almost like they TRIED to suck all of the fun out of it. This is a paint by numbers picture with only one color: s**t brown.
Furthermore, what the hell is this crap? Is this some high school project to make a CD that sounds like Nelly done by a retard with a severe speech impediment? This kid's voice is so unnaturally infuriating I want to punch people. There's nothing wrong with a nasal flow. This kid is past a nasal flow. He sounds like he's spitting out of a stuffy nose into a soggy kleenex. The chorus to "One Call Away" is so bad I literally freeze in terror when I hear it.
My original intent was just to do a whole review of me pounding the keyboard, fed by the rage that THIS is the future of music. I feel compelled, however, to educate the masses. To anyone who has ever loved music, listening to this CD is like watching someone break your pets legs and set your family on fire. Then when you realize, because of artists like Chingy, many other artists with something called TALENT are losing exposure. When you add this into the equation, something must be done. I could name a million better artists than this, but I won't.
If you're still considering buying this CD, don't. This is music constructed by industry honchos, fitted to an exact blueprint. There is NOTHING individual about this music. It's as bland an anonymous as any given Big Mac sitting on an industrial heating apparatus.
