My son is 1 1/2 years old and has loved "Jack's Big Music Show" from the time he was a few months old. The bright colors and wonderful songs have enchanted him. I have also enjoyed this show as it is not as sickeningly sweet as other shows (think Barney).

I LOVE this soundtrack. That being said, I believe it is missing something. There are 3 songs by Laurie Berkner. I like her as much as the next artist and she seems to be on every episode of "Jack's Big Music Show" but I was hoping they would have put songs that were unavailable elsewhere. "The Bongo Bird" song by Jamia, "I'm So Glad" by Jerry Lawson and the Talk of the Town and any of the songs perfomed by Cathy Richardson for example. I wanted more Schwartzman Quartet and more songs performed by Jack, Mary and Mel.

I was glad they put "The Me Dance" and "I like it that way" as I was not able to find those anywhere else.

All in all it is a great soundtrack, which is why I rated it a 5. If, however you are a diehard fan, you may miss a little something here and there. Nick Jr. Please release a "Jack's Big Music Show Season 1 Volume 2"!!! Thanks!

It was just okay for me, Dawg;-) They can fit all the songs from JBMS, why skip the cute song by Cathy Richardson played during the Marching Band show? Drip Drop Drip...Listen it's in the airrrr....Such a sweet melody. Also "Twinkle Twinkle" by the Schwartzmann Quartet. Deep Down in My Heart by the dude who sings Number 1, and that cool song that goes "I'm so glad I have a face, cause I'm a member of the human race", etc. They need to step up to the plate here.

There are tons of more songs they could of put on this cd. Most kids that love the show probably already have the Laurie Berkner CDs so that's a bit of overkill. My biggest disappointment was not one Cathy Richardson song was on it and she's the one my son loves the most. Still he does enjoy it.

I gotta say that overall this CD is great; My two and a half year old loves to jam to the music. I do agree with the above reviewer on the song selection. There are so many great artists that appear on the show I don't quite understand why the CD doesn't have more of a variety - and why the need for so many Laurie Berkner songs. Don't get me wrong - they are good songs but it would have been nice to show some others the love - like Jerry Lawson. I still give it 5 stars because it's a good cd and the kid likes it and I can stand listening to it. Props to Nick Jr for broadcasting a kid show that has music the whole family can appreciate.

My 1 1/2 year old loves this CD, and so do I! We turn it on as soon as he wakes up in the morning, and everyone in the family can sing all the words. The songs are bouncy and cheerful, and there's a good variety from the show. We highly recommend it for anyone who enjoys Jack's Big Music Show.

I was so excited to see Jack's Big Music Show in CD format. We love the CD. I appreciate that they put the Opening Theme Song and Closing Theme Song on as well. I wish they had more Jack and Mary and Mel songs as well. But it is great they included their song "Music is the Best". I love the Schwartzman Quartet, so I wish they put more of their songs as well. They have "Bugs are really Swell" on the CD. My family loves "I'm not Perfect" which is on the CD, and, "I'm Me and You're You. I like Green and you like Blue", which is NOT on the CD, but it is a good mix of Laurie Berkener and the other artists showcased on the show. We love Laurie's songs, so I'd prefer more songs from her that the other artists. But I do enjoy the variety on the CD. There are 3 Laurie Berkner Songs, I wish there were more. I know she has her music on her own CDs, but I enjoy the songs she sings on the show. I wish there were more of them on this CD. Her songs are so great and lots of sing-along fun.

Definitely get this CD, it is a great addition to your children's music collection, if they love the show.

My 15 month old son loves Jack's Big Music Show and now we can enjoy Jack without being stuck in front of the TV! When we play songs from this CD in adult company, they are always bopping their heads or tapping their feet to the beat.

My toddler loves this cd - easy to learn songs to sing along with in the car!

My son (21 months old) HATES to ride in the car. It was always a challenge to keep him pacified long enough to get to our destination....until we found this cd. He has always loved Jack's Big Music Show and this cd was the answer to our problem. He gets so excited and happy when he hears the opening theme song! Although some of the other parents thought that this cd was lacking something, I disagree. My family and I really enjoy the music selection and we find ourselves singing along. However, I do wish that they would produce more JBMS cds so that we could have a collection of our favorite songs from the show. More Jack's Big Music Show, please!

I bought this cd for my baby boy, he is 18 months old, he love this cd, he dance with it, i recomended for every one.
