A brilliant mess,

I have somehow been collecting these little books of Biskups' minute paintings. As ever, this one shows him, beyond imagery, to be an astonishing colorist (try looking at them for just his color sense- incredible). I have found the previous books to be really enjoyable, but scary in a safe sort of way: the Los Angeles anime/Gary Panzer heritage. This one is actually scary; and not so polished. And really honest and quite the best of the lot.

Potentially a fun little collector's item,

This series of books is just plain fun. Biskup is genius at what he does. I would love to own one of the original plates from these books.

beyond his prolific, technical and marketing capabilities Tim Biskup is a master in color harmony.
