I love this bag. It's not exactly what I imagined though based on the picture. From the picture, I assumed that the leather would be slightly more durable and stiff. However, it is not. It is flexible and thinner, but still quality. There are more pockets than I thought there would be. I was very pleased about that. In total there are six pockets. The inside features two large areas (for a laptop on one side and books or a binder on the other side) separated by a padded cotton divider. The bottom is also padded on the laptop side (which is smaller than the other side, just big enough for an average sized laptop to slide in comfortably). On the wall of the larger side there are also two sleeve pockets (about 4 inches across and 6 inches deep), a phone pocket and some pen/pencil holders. On the outside of the bag there are two water bottle-esque pockets on the sides. There is also a large sleeve pocket on the opposite side of the close flap. This sleeve is magnetically closed. As for the materials on the inside: the two 4x6 sized pockets are made from a tough canvas material. Most everything else is a tough cotton material (similar in thickness/toughness to a pair of classic dockers slacks). The stitching seems very tough although time will tell. I don't imagine this material will rip from regular use as long as I am careful. I imagine it will last me for 5 years of everyday use stuffed with textbooks, hopefully more...but I wouldn't say this is a life-time lasting bag. The only thing that could've made this bag better would be if they used the tough canvas material for everything not just the two pockets.

I absolutely LOVE this bag. I was not aware that fossil made bags - I was only familiar with their watches which I also love. I stumbled into the Fossil Store to kill some time at the Stoneridge Mall and fell in love with their bags!!! The leather is sooo soft and rich. The bag is very light and sports a wide strap that's easy on the shoulders. This is one sexy bag!.

This is a great bag. I bought it to hold stuff I needed for school. It has 2 large areas inside one is padded for a laptop, which holds a 13in computer w/ sleeve or a larger computer without a sleeve. The other area is huge, I was able to hold 5 textbooks and an ereader plus all the cords and cables that I need to power through the day. It could probably hold a few pad folios too. The strap is really sturdy, I think it will be able to hold the weight for years to come. Also a bonus for me was the magnetic flap, because the sound of Velcro would drive me nuts, plus it gives the bag a clean sleek look that you want if you are going to carry it for months or years.

Looks good, plenty of room, lots of pockets for stuff, but no inside zip pocket to keep small items safe.

I just started using it but I love it. Pockets are very nice. I use it for commuting but I don't use it for a laptop. I would definitely recommend it.
