5.0 out of 5 stars The Jacksons: A Family Dynasty--Definitely!, February 1, 2010
This review is from: The Jacksons: A Family Dynasty (DVD)

I thoroughly enjoyed watching this reality show on A&E! I looked forward to watching The Brothers interacting with each other every week. I cannot wait for the next season! The Brothers look really good, although I'd love for Randy to make an appearance! I've grown up looking up to Tito, the quiet, serious one. Don't know why but he has this sexiness that just screams at ya! I can relate to Jackie, being the oldest myself, expecting the respect that comes along with it--don't always seem to happen that way. I can also relate to Marlon, being the funny one trying to keep things light. And Jermaine--what can I say?!?!?! He's still moving and shaking. I admire Tito and Jermaine for continuing their music careers and staying on the move.

Before I forget--my favorite part of the series was when The Brothers isolated themselves trying to come up with songs for the "then" concert tribute to Michael and Tito was cooking a type of salmon??? for dinner. He put a little wine in the dish which obviously gives it great flavor. Sounds good? Actually Jermaine doesn't partake of any liquor, wine, etc. due to religious beliefs. Well, Tito's dinner was a treat for everyone, including Jermaine, who had no idea his lips touched wine! He was chowin' down! Oooopppppsssss--DOES HE KNOW THIS YET???!!!

I'd love to see more from this amazing Family Dynasty, Definitely!

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Series, March 8, 2010
This review is from: The Jacksons: A Family Dynasty (DVD)
I loved the series and I hope A&E brings it back! It was very well executed and it was nice to see how the brothers live and interact with each other. It was also nice to see other members of the family - well it was just nice to see them doing good and trying, as best they can, to cope with the loss of their brother, uncle and friend Michael. I think it was Marlon who said that they have their ups and downs just like all families. I wish them well!

This show is just hilarious...
In holland they've just started airing the program in January and I can't wait to view each episode...
These guys are so ridiculously funny, eventhough they know there's a camera, I believe they truly are this colourful and...well..uh...weird!
Jermaine, is the softy, crybaby like diva w/ the catering wife (I mean is she for real....). Those scenes with Jermaine in the studio carrying on w/ Jackie's tunes like he wrote them...
Jackie is just....kinda crybaby-ish too. He never confronts the brothers directly when he's hurt...runs straight to momma Kat.
Marlon is just crazy funny....joking about Jermaine's moslim believes ('is your camel parked outside...') and not taking anything too serious at all!
Tito is the most serious one, perhaps most like papa Joe.

The funniest bits though are when they are all together in the studio or something...they just don't jell like they used to I guess and that makes for some great tv moments...

I do believe Michael wasn't the weirdest of the bunch since I've watched this show. I think it all comes down to all of them not really havin' a childhood and now reliving those playfull moments in full...behaving like growns kids basically!

Anyone interested in good fun and real drama/stories should go out and buy the DVD when it comes out!
