An appealing retelling of a Genesis story,

This review is from: Jacob and Esau (Bible Stories) (Paperback)
Written for children aged 4-8 years, this story is told in a straight-forward manner in about 25 pages. The illustrations by Diana Mayo are very good. I am delighted to know of this book because children need to learn the foundational stories from the book of Genesis, and this is the first stand-alone rendition of the story of Jacob and Esau that I have seen and liked. The book balances telling details of the various episodes in these brother's lives and giving a succinct overview of their stories. Unfortunately, other books in this series are not equally good.
