3.0 out of 5 stars Jacob Two-Two review
I don't really like this book because at the end of the story, you'll find out that it's all just a dream. Its very disappointing because the storyline is very clever and the setting is very well portrayed. This is a good adventure/fantasy book which I would recommend to readers 7 or above.

5.0 out of 5 stars An Exciting Read-Aloud, July 7, 2001
By A Customer
As an elementary teacher, I have found this fun and hilarious book to be a younger "Harry Potter". "Jacob Two-Two" is straightforward, human, and vivid. It highlights the themes of empathy, independence, and power--a strong message about the value of every individual. I would highly recommend it for any child from grades 1-4. Excellent!

5.0 out of 5 stars A JACOB TWO-TWO REVIEW, April 4, 2005
A Kid's Review
Jacob Two-Two is one of the most imaginative stories I've read in a while. It reminds of being a kid in my carefree days. I have actually watered my mom's flowers an hour after she had and flooded her flowerbeds.

Basically, the story is about a 6 year-old boy who repeats everything twice just to be heard because he's the youngest out of five. Because he wants to be helpful, he wants to run an errand for the first time. He goes to Mr. Cooper, the greengrocer to get two pounds of firm, red tomatoes. After insulting Mr. Cooper (he didn't really insult Mr. Cooper, Mr. Cooper was just teasing him, but Jacob doesn't know that), he ran into Richmond Park to hide from the police. He was afraid the police might send him to jail for insulting a big person. Then, in Richmond Park he falls asleep into a crazy dream with the Hooded Fang, two super heroes, and a children's prison.

4.0 out of 5 stars Perry & Bonasera review The Hooded Fang, April 3, 2000
By A Customer
This book is about a young boy ( 2+2+2 years old) who is sentto a children's prison in the foggiest part of England. This prison isrun by a Former wrestler called The Hooded Fang. The Hooded Fang considers himself vile, vicious, and mean, but nobody agrees. The Intrepid Shapiro and the Fearless O'Toole plot to rescue Jacob and all the other children in the Children's Prison but there are a few kinks. A worker at the Children's prison called Mr. Fox leads them to the Children's Prison. After a great battle... I won't tell you the rest. S. Perry

Jacob Two-Two is 2+2+2 years old. Jacob says everything twice. So when he asks Mr. Cooper for two pounds of firm red tomatoes twice, Mr Cooper thinks he is insulted and Jacob finds himself on Slimers Isle, home of the Hooded Fang. If you like to laugh, and love to smile you'll love Jacob Two-Two Meets The Hooded Fang.

When Jacob Two-two is thrown in the childrens prison on Slimers Isle for mocking a big person it's up to him with a little help from Fearless O'Toole and the Intrepid Shapiro (child power) to save the kids of Slimers Isle from the mean, excrutiating, vile Hooded Fang.Read this book to find out if Jacob Two-Two, even as small as he is can save the children of Slimers Isle.
