This review is from: Jacob Young (Audio CD)
I orginally just wanted to buy Jacob's Single Life is good because I didn't think his CD was going to be all that good but to my surprise the single was so good I decided to buy the entire CD. I'm glad I did. His entire CD is awesome. He has such different styles of music in the album. Some pop songs, rock songs and a few love songs that are just beautiful. He has such a incredible voice which has surprised me. I didn't know he was so musically talented. I definitely recommend this CD for anyone who loves good music and songwriting. This is one CD you can pop into your CD player and keep hearing.

I bought the CD the week of it's release and it hasn't come out of my discman, I kid you not. I am a fan of Jacob's from General Hospital, and couldn't wait for the CD to be released after listening to samples on jacobyoung.org. He has a great voice, and on this CD, his range is unbelievable. The songs are a great mix, and I can honestly say I love them all. This CD is fun and happy. The songs are infectious, they can't help but stay in your head. Check it out! It's so worth it!

Interesting...., January 24, 2002

I got this CD as a gift recently, and I must say - it is interesting. Many of the songs are very cool. There is some very strange sampling going on in a couple of songs, but is isn't that bad... just different. I like "8 Hour Love Story" and "Sleep Tonight" a lot. Not sure how I feel about "She Made Me Love You More." I just don't like the message behind it at all. But I know, it is a light song, not advocating cheating on your significant other at all. I hope... Anyhow, he does have quite a nice voice, and the songs are catchy. If you are a fan, it is something you must definately have. If you, like me, enjoy him on GH, but wouldn't classify yourself as a fan per se, check out the sound samples and see if it is your style. Rocky, a little Pop-py, but only a little, and with a touch of his own very unique style in there. Worth a listen. Probably more.
