Good quality drill chuck. The 30602 has 1/2" x 20 threads not 3/8" x 24 as stated in the Product Description From the Manufacturer above.

I try this Chuck Drills In our metal cabinets factory and the teeth that gaves the grip to the key began to break.

The drill chuck replacement was easy to install on my Dewalt drill and seems to be rugged enough to handle hard daily use. The drill is used to mix mortar and thin set for tile installation which is far harder on the tool than standard uses.

I bought two 1/2" drill chucks for both my drills. They both fit and work fine.

I used this in confunction with a SDS drill chuck adapter (Eazypower 30205 1/2-Inch SDS Drill Chuck Adapter 20-UNF Thread - also available on Amazon) to convert my SDS drill to use standard smooth shank bits. I have a number of smaller masonry bits that didn't utilize the SDS shank, and I also have a number of larger hex shank bits that wouldn't fit in my 3/8" cordless drill. This chuck in conjunction with the adapter addressed all of those issues and it works perfectly.

I debated whether I wanted the keyless option, but I wanted the full 1/2 size and the keyless options seemed rather bulky. This is also not my primary drill, and since I am only using it with my SDS hammerdrill, I won't utilize it that often. Because of this, I was willing to go with the keyed version which I feel will hold up better in the long term especially on a hammer drill. So far so good.

has 1/2" x 20 threads not 3/8" x 24, what does it take to get accurate description in the ad?
