The crown is 4 and a half inches, as stated, and the hat itself is very stiff. The ribbon is held on by a staple. You get what you pay for. Not bad overall, though. It suits what I wanted it for. ^.^

Yes, I realize the description correctly stated 4" crown, but the pictured object is plainly misleading. The hat is shorter than pictured.

Not exactly top of the line but you get what you pay for. Its not flimsy or made out of plastic, looks nice, relatively durable and very classy. My only warning, its kind of a tight fit.

It's a simple top hat, so it was great for an experimental start to try-out a Steampunk event. I was able to easily decorate it in whatever form I wanted. It was thin enough to embroider, and still thick enough to support some brasswork and other jewelry.

Picture shows a standard top hat. This item is NOT a standard top hat. Item sold is, as described, a 4" high hat. I would not consider this to be a top hat, though I don't know a word that adequately describes it other than "a disappointment". I should have read the description better and pulled out my ruler instead of looking at the picture and thinking I would get that item. At least it is a cheap mistake.

i got these on sale for like 4 dollars shipped. i bought 6 of them. and they are awesome. they aren't extremely tall lincoln style but they are cool, with a flat top and flipped up sides to it.
it was worth the cheap price that i got them for, but probably not worth it if they were the regular price.

Hat was entirely to small and not nice as the pictures and information suggested. I through this away immediately. Misrepresented the producted

it was a little snug in the box but it arrived quickly and it is exactly what i was looking for.
