Cleopatra Headpiece

I purchased this headpiece for my twenty year old daughter. She needed it for a college theme party - "Arabian/Egyptian Nights." She said the golden headpiece was the hit of the party. It really completed the outfit and she said it was very comfortable and easy to wear all night. It was shoulder length and fit easily over an adult's head. I know we will use it again, for Halloween or Carnivale parties.

The Cleopatra headpiece doesn't look at all like the photograph, however, we liked it even better than the one pictured. We had a lot of trouble getting the headpiece though. We ordered it on Oct. 8, they received payment on Oct 13, and yet we did not receive the headpiece until Oct 25. This wouldn't have been as upsetting except that they had indicated that the headpiece would arrive between the 15 and 20th, and my daughter had a halloween celebration on the 24th. Also, the guy at Paradise Island did not respond to my e-mail, he did however, respond to my phone call and although there was no tracking information available on line, he was able to tell me when the item would arrive. He also said he would refund the shipping costs, and that did not happen yet either.

I purchased the adult headpiece to complete my Cleopatra Halloween costume. When it arrived I was VERY dissappointed. The headpiece was very small and did not even properly fit my 7 year old niece. The beads in the bangs and the back of the head were very uneven and much shorter than represented in the picture. The beads were a horrible ORANGE color, not gold and the strings were black and orange. It was very pointed on the top and would not lay flat no matter what we did to it. It also was missing beads and had globs of hot glue all over it. In short, it was very poor quality and not at all what was represented in the picture.

I received mine in the mail and it was a golden orange! It looks nothing like the one pictured on the little girl. It's plastic and the "crown" piece is too small for anyone's head. It's awful, I'm probably going to send it back.

This products took like two weeks to get to my house, so it arrived after when I needed it. It had broken strands of beads. If it cane on time and in one piece I would have liked it a lot more.

This headpiece was a huge disappointment as my daughter chose to be Cleopatra for Halloween solely so she could wear this item. In the picture, the headpiece lays flat and beautiful against the child's head. All beads are intact. Not so in real life. This isn't just a matter of it being a deceiving promotional photo, its a matter of it looking like an entirely different item. We were excited when it arrived but that was short-lived. As soon as a I pulled the headpiece from its bag, beads fell all over my kitchen floor. I thought perhaps I would need to pull out my glue gun to make the repairs. However, the worst part is when we went to try it on. The headpiece looked like a little beanie instead of a lovely drape. It did not lay anywhere close to flush to the head. It looked like a little upside down bowl on my daughter's head. Embarrassing! No way was she going to wear that. I tried stretching the top part out, hoping I could flatten it out but this only resulted in more beads falling off. Very disappointing. Don't buy this piece of junk. I went to a Halloween store and purchased a Cleopatra tiara...still not as pretty (in my daughter's eyes) as the one in the picture here, but it was definitely made better.

This product is pretty much a disgrace. It definitely does not look like the photo, and it look very cheap! I would say it looks like a bunch of Mardi Gras beads glued together. Speaking of glue, you can see the hot glue gun wads between every bead, and the strings hang out under the beads. Its too small for anyone over age 6, and it doesn't stretch. oh well. ill just have to make it work. Im probably going to send it back.

I ordered this headpiece for an adult, after reading a review that a 20-year old wore it (so I assumed it was large enough for an adult). It is absolutely awful: thick bits of glue are showing all over the piece, which is more golden rope than bead, and the part that sits on the crown of the head looks like it's made for a doll or someone with a pin head -- seriously, a child couldn't even wear it. It does not sit flat like it is shown in the picture. A real waste of money because it was so cheap it's not worth sending it back! I'll makes something myself or find another product.

I used this piece for VBS. I fit well, and really completed the Cleo look. would recommend, however needs to be secured

A friend of mine is planning to go as Cleopatra for Halloween this year. I came across this and she just got it a few days ago. It fits her head well and looks great with the rest of her outfit. We're trying to find an asp bracelet or something of the like to complete the ensemble!
