Product Description

Color: Navy Blue

Concentrated powdered hot water dyes that produce the most vibrant possible results on protein fibers including silk, wool, cashmere, alpaca, feathers and nylon. The only acid involved is the vinegar you add. Each 1/2 ounce bottle will color up to two pounds of fiber depending on the depth of shade desired. In addition to garment dyeing you can also paint or print with these dyes. Extremely brilliant and colorfast they produce a uniform dye job and the colors are beautiful, pure, transparent and luscious.

Super easy instructions.

Worked great, completely covered the original color underneath, just make sure to continue stirring the fabric while its in the dye or you will get uneven spots.
Samantha
The color came out so dark and just like the picture.

I purchased this to dye a faded wool Stetson style hat. Even though the hat is moderately weatherproof the dye soaked in perfectly. I water-tested it after drying and found it to remain color fast. The problem I found (and I offer it as a word of caution, not to fault the product) was that following the directions and soaking the hat in hot water for 30 min caused it to shrink significantly so that, while it is as dark a black as I wanted, it is too small to wear

I had a very expensive cashmere sweater that I wanted to change the color, I'll admit I was a little sceptical at first. I had never dyed anything with an acid dye before. It's quit a different process than regular dying, but I read the directions carefully and forged ahead It turned out amazing I now have a brand new sweater.

I am really blown away by these dyes. I needed to dye a white nylon dance suit and was told that whatever I used to dye it would be extremely washed out/pale. But I was extremely happy to see that this acid dye did the trick; I followed the instructions from the Jacquard Acid Dye website and the color came out exactly like the sample color. It was in no way washed out or spotted. I highly recommend this dye!

I use Jaquard Acid Dyes to hand paint and kettle dye wool yarn. It produces vibrant colors. It's the only dye I will use for my yarn.

I bought this to turn a white bikini black, I didn't know exactly how to measure out the correct amount of powder but it ended up coming out a navy blue black. It looks really great though! Maybe if I had put more it would have come out jet black but i'm still happy with the result.

Color is great but quantity of product may only be sufficient for three garments. The best results were obtained by exceeding the recommended soaking time.

Brilliant, reliable , simple -to-use acid dye. I like to blend my own colors from primary hues , and this one makes a wonderful cyan! Clear, intense, and readily takes to color combos and reliably strikes the fiber itself. I have experimented with a lot of blues; this is The One!

I used Jacquard Acid Dyes for dyeing feathers. The colors looked beautiful and did not fade after repeated shampooing. I took an old frying pan, heated some water added a teaspoon white vinegar and the dye and feathers, and simmered it for half an hour while stirring occasionally.
