the magic world of jade,
This review is from: Jade (Paperback)
This book is very interesting because it offers a complete view of the world of jade. The author describes in a first part the facts and superstitions about jade, then shows this mineral in the countries and folks where it can be found: China, Middle America, Maori, Indian and Mughal. The last chapter contains an "advice to the collector" which is preciuos to recognize the kinds of jade, its value and the ways to distinguish it from other minerals. Maybe, the illustrations could be better, but it's a venial sin for a book that costs only 9.95 US$!
